Lead Poisoning: Where to Find Data

The state Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch (CLPPB) maintains a statewide surveillance system for childhood blood lead data, the Response and Surveillance System for Childhood Lead Exposures (RASSCLE II).

The database is used by the state CLPPB to work with local Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention (CLPP) Programs to conduct surveillance activities, case management, and other necessary follow-up with children who have blood lead levels of concern.  The State CLPPB provides data to local CLPP Programs and the public, but no active surveillance system is available to the public.

For more information on CLPPB, visit their website: www.cdph.ca.gov/programs/CLPPB/Pages/default.aspx
