Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Where to Find Data

Currently, there are no comprehensive CO poisoning surveillance systems for California or for the nation.

The California Environmental Health Tracking Program (CEHTP) provides data on hospitalizatons due to CO poisoning through our CO poisoning data query system.

The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) are responsible for collecting hospitalization data.  To find out more about hospitalization data, go to their website: www.oshpd.ca.gov

To request public use data from OSHPD, go here: http://www.oshpd.ca.gov/HID/Products/PatDischargeData/PublicDataSet/index.html
