California Superfund sites: insights from a computerized database

A computerized database of 93 California state Superfund waste sites was created to assess the feasibility of using such a system for a variety of public health purposes.  Though the available data were limited in many respects, analysis of the database proved useful for summarizing features of hazardous waste sites that could be of considerable public health interest.
