CEHTP Tools and Services

The tools and serviced developed by CEHTP are an essential component in our ability to provide more useful  data and information to the public.  CEHTP tools and services are available to all users, though many have been developed with the particular goal of assisting research. However, the visualization and mapping tools in particular are likely to be of interest to users who want to explore what is happening in their community.

What tools and services are available right now?

Also, see our data queries by topic.

How are tools and services useful?

One of the goals to the tracking program is to help improve the utility and access to existing data. One way we are attempting to do this is by developing tools and services that can help us to:

  • Better search and visualize the data
  • Link environmental data with health records
  • Enhance or provide geocoordinates for environmental and health data

We are in the process of developing a number of tools and services that we hope will be useful to a range of users.  Some of our tools are currently available on the main EHIB website and are already being used for research and planning.  We plan to develop tutorials and documentation to help users learn to use the tools and understand their potential uses and limitations.
