Geographic Information System (GIS) for the Border Region
Initiated in 2007, the Border GIS project inventories various types of environmental data for the Border region and assesses Environmental Health Indicators.Data for specific environmental health indicators were integrated for visualization in a publicly accessible web-based mapping tool for the California-Mexico border region. Some of the indicators include agricultural pesticides, traffic, and air quality.
